Mallory McMaster joined the The Fairmount Group in 2017, bringing more than a decade of experience to the company along with a proven track record of pushing innovative advocacy and public awareness campaigns to the next level. An experienced leader and trainer with experience in communications, marketing, functional excellence and issue-based advocacy, Mallory can help clients from any industry or sector develop and execute engaging, responsive, scalable campaigns and take on even the most ambitious projects. In addition to designing and implementing long-term plans and projects, Mallory supports and advises our clients through unexpected situations.
Mallory’s appointment to President and CEO is a clear reflection of the firm’s current state: ready to tackle the future and fired up after another strong year of growth and expansion. The Fairmount Group is poised to begin major projects in social justice and collective resistance, and we’re excited to offer Mallory’s unique experience to help our clients turn their hopes and dreams into actionable campaigns. Prior to joining The Fairmount Group, Mallory served as the Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator at Preterm, a nationwide leader in compassionate abortion care. During her time at Preterm, Mallory led the organization’s successful outreach efforts to destigmatize abortion care through a multi-level advertising campaign, grassroots and volunteer engagement and political advocacy.
Prior to her work at Preterm, Mallory was the assistant to the Director of Nursing at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where she led employee engagement programs, monitored quality initiatives, and supported nursing education and onboarding. In addition to supporting the Nursing Institute, Mallory served as a steering committee member for Velo Sano, an annual philanthropic cycling event supporting cancer research initiatives at the Clinic.
Mallory earned a B.A. in Nonprofit Administration and Leadership from Cleveland State University. She lives in Cleveland Heights with her husband. In her free time, she volunteers for state and national women’s rights organizations and supports local animal rescue groups.
