The Need
The organization had an impressive history, but was lacking the recognition and relationships it needed for growth. Its lean in-house staff lacked the required skills and experience in marketing, communications and fundraising.
How The Fairmount Group Delivered Success
It was an honor to support our peers and colleagues in the public relations industry by serving the Arthur W. Page Society. To position the organization as the preeminent thought leader on corporate communications, The Fairmount Group developed strategies to attract and retain members and increase revenue from corporate sponsorships and annual gifts. We managed the implementation of a new branding and visual identity system and coordinated media relations efforts with news and trade press. We developed the wireframe and messaging strategy for a new website; created all the content; promoted its launch; and coordinated its maintenance.
We served on the core teams that planned and managed six national conferences and a year-long 25th anniversary celebration. This entailed the development all promotional materials, the creation and maintenance of dedicated web sites, and onsite support such as live blogging.
To support the financial sustainability of the organization, The Fairmount Group developed an annual fund campaign for members and their employers.
In addition, we edited and managed the production of journals, annual reports, brochures and other marketing materials for the organization.
